Exclusive oceanic diving with sharks and pelagic on the Equator
Fuvahmulah Dive School is the first professional diving facility based in Fuvahmulah since 2017.
Ever since we began diving on this remote place, our team of mostly local dive guides and crew members has discovered the amazing dive sites and megafauna around the island. Exploring and researching the island, the guides have logged thousands of dives with an immense experience of the local ever-changing conditions. Working together every day, we became a big diverse family and enjoy to show the best of Fuvahmulah to our guests.

Fuvahmulah Dive School follows high standards and provides outstanding service for individuals and groups.
Each dive includes a comprehensive briefing and explanation of pelagics and shark behavior. We provide full equipment assistance and transfers to the dive centre. Our team members are local islanders who know the local weather and ocean conditions well. All dive guides have Shark Speciality and are specially trained for Tiger Zoo. We have a big international team for assistance.

Location
Fuvahmulah Dive School has an excellent location in the harbour area in front of the fish market and a cozy local cafe, where guests can have snacks/coffee/tea between the dives and get rest under the shadows of beautiful trees. It takes less than a minute to get to our diving boats from the dive centre.
Diving dhoanis
We have two comfortable diving boats 20pax and 15pax maximum capacity. In the Maldives, we call them dhoanis. The boats are suitable for different water activities: diving, fishing, cruising Both boats are equipped with toilets, bathrooms, changing room, fresh water showers on deck, sun deck, and automatic compressor filling systems.
Compressors: BAUER 360, 2 COLTRI MCH16 & NITROX SYSTEM PNX-550
Equipment: Mares, Cressi, ScubaPro, Aqualung. Full sets, all sizes.
Tanks: Aluminium tanks 8, 11, 12, 13 L, still tanks 15 L.
Education & Awareness programs: Diving and free diving courses PADI all levels. Excellent for advanced open water diver, drift diver, deep diver, navigation skills, fish&coral identification and awareness programs. Fuvahmulah is one of the best place to make Shark and Manta Ray Speciality. Lectures of different species of marine life and educational awareness programs are provided in the Dive School.
How we dive
Our daily schedule - 3 dives a day.
After each dive, the dive boat arrives back to the harbor for a break.
Daily schedule can be extended to 4 dives upon special request.
We do not do night dives due to safety reasons.
Safety first
Nautilus Lifeline Marine Rescue GPS / VHF Radio for Scuba Divers
Fuvahmulah is located in the open ocean, currents here are strong and sometimes unpredictable. Based on our experience, we recommend to use special safety equipment. Our dive guides always equipped by special divides, which allowed to connect to the diving boat immediately after getting surface after th dive.
